One of the parts that can cut your microwave power supply is the cylinder fuse. This is how you locate and test your microwaves cylinder fuse.

For over the range microwave:

Disconnect the power supply from Appliance

Remove the plastic thin panel (Grille)

Once the panel is removed, this will exposed the screw at the top of the control panel. Remove the screw and the control panel should pull up and off

With the control panel off, you should be able to locate the ceramic cylinder fuse.

To test the fuse, you will need a multimeter. Disconnect one terminal of the fuse and check it for continuity with a multimeter.

For counter top Microwaves:

Disconnect the power supply from Appliance

Remove the top panel

With the panel off, you should be able to locate the ceramic cylinder fuse.

To test the fuse, you will need a multimeter. Disconnect one terminal of the fuse and check it for continuity with a multimeter.
